Milan to meet Porto chairman for Jackson Martinez

After selling Mario Balotelli to Liverpool, Milan desperately need to add a new striker before the end of the transfer window.

Roma's Mattia Destro and Porto's Jackson Martinez have both been identified as possible candidates to replace the Italian with Sky Sports Italy believing the Rossoneri will tomorrow make an official offer for the 27-year-old.

An offer for 23-year-old Destro was turned down by Roma with Milan deciding to therefore shift their focus on the Colombia international.

With only 7 days left before the end of the transfer window, the Italians want to accelerate negotiations and are expected to meet the player and Porto chairman Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa on Monday.
