Juan Cuadrado: This is why I left Chelsea to make Juventus move

By

New Juventus signing Juan Cuadrado says he left Chelsea to join one of the best team in European football.

The Colombia international joined the Blues for £23.3m from Fiorentina during last winter's transfer window but struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge as he made only 15 appearances for the club.

He signed a season-long loan deal with the Bianconeri.

"No, I didn't expect such a warm welcome but I'm happy to be back in Italy," the winger is quoted as saying by TuttoJuve.com.

"Juventus is a great team, one of the best in Europe, they are strong enough to defend the title they won last season.

"I will my do best to help this team, I want to be ready for every single game we will play but it's the coach's job to decide who starts and who doesn't."
