Juventus eyeing alternative in case they lose out to Arsenal in £20 star race

By

Italian champions Juventus are ready to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur's Erik Lamela if they fail to sign Schalke 04's Julian Draxler.

The 21-year-old is a confirmed target for the Bianconeri but an agreement with the German club is yet to be reached.

Draxler is also being chased by Arsenal with reports claiming that the Gunners are ready to offer £20 to secure the services of the youngster.

Lamela, 23, was one of the most impressive players in the Italian Serie A when at Roma but is yet to settle down in the English Premier League.

The Bianconeri would be more than happy to offer him a chance to make a comeback in the Serie A although their main objective remains the Germany international.
