Arsenal and Tottenham to lose out in race for Juventus striker


Striker Alvaro Morata is expected to extend his stay at Juventus.

The 22-year-old is a target for Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur according to reports in England but he is expected to stay with the Italian champions.

"It wasn't a bad season, but I can improve a lot," Morata is quoted as saying by

"There is still room for improvement, it was a bizarre season for me, a lot of changes in life and football.

"Next season will be different, I'll be used to Italian football and the city.

"[The club] didn't say anything about a possible contract renewal.

"If they approach me I would be happy because it would mean that they appreciated all the work I've done so far."
