Massimiliano Allegri satisfied after win over Napoli

By

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says his players deserve a rest after beating Napoli 3-1 at the Juventus Stadium.

Despite being crowned champions weeks ago, the Bianconeri continue to impress as they disposed of Rafa Benitez's side with relative ease.

They will end their Serie A campaign with an away game against Verona next week.

"Today it was a beautiful day, a party, we're satisfied," Allegri told Sky Sport Italy.

"The lads showed that they are still hungry for wins, we played a very good game.

"This team worked extremely hard to achieve objectives and win things. I am very happy, the relationship with the fans is very solid and a respectful one.

"[Barcelona?] For now we just want to rest, to recover mental and physical energy.

"But it will be tough. [Lionel Messi] is tough to block when he's on the ball. They are different when compared to the Barcelona of [Pep] Guardiola.

"We will have to play a top game in respect to the defensive department if we are to block them."
