Massimiliano Allegri warns against complacency

By

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says his players have to keep the focus ahead of the last two games of the Serie A.

Juventus fans are already looking forward to the June 6 final against Barcelona in the Champions League but the Italian insists that upcoming games against Napoli and Verona will be a good test ahead of the Berlin final.

"The Napoli game is no longer important for our objective to win the title but we want to win it to keep our unbeaten run at home," Allegri said on Friday morning.

"Our last two games in the Serie A are important - together with our training sessions - to keep a good fitness level and a good mental level.

"As I said last week, this week rather, we cannot expect to rest until June 6. We have to continue our work, preparing our next two games in the best possible way.

"We will take a few days off after Saturday's game because we have going on and on since February. And then we will prepare the final [against Barcelona in the Champions League] without putting pressure on our shoulders.

"[Gianluigi] Buffon will be back tomorrow but in the meantime, I wanted to give credit to [Marco] Storari who is an exceptional goalkeeper, a true professional.

"Same goes for [third goalkeeper] Rubinho who never played this season but he is part of an exceptional group of goalkeepers."
