Massimiliano Allegri delighted after impressive win

By

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was delighted after his side produced a brilliant display of football to reach the final of the Italian Cup.

The Bianconeri needed to recover a 2-1 home defeat disadvantage against Fiorentina and despite missing key players in Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba, they dominated the game as they now await the winner of the Napoli-Lazio tie.

"I am very happy," Allegri told RAI Sport.

"We managed to reach an objective, the Italian Cup final. In the championship Lazio recovered 13 points from Napoli so we have to be careful, we still have to win four games to win the title.

"Our dream is now to reach the Champions League semi-final.

"We are physically fit, credit to the training staff. We are also improving in respect to how quickly we move the ball around.

"Winning away at Fiorentina was not easy but the lads did well.

"[Alvaro Morata and Claudio Marchisio suspended for the final?] We will have [Paul] Pogba, [Alessandro] Matri and [Kingsley] Coman."
