Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says the boos of the Milan fans were to be expected.
Allegri made his return at the San Siro stadium as Juventus coach only months after he was sacked by the Rossoneri in January following a 4-3 league defeat by Sassuolo.
"They [the Milan fans] saw me as the Juventus coach, there's a big rivalry between the two clubs," Allegri said during his post-match press conference.
"It's normal, when you look at it that way.
"I always respected the fans during my three and a half years at Milan, in the same way I do wherever I go.
"It was like that at Cagliari, at Milan and now at Juventus.
"But I wasn't bothered by them [the boos]. For sure is that it makes no sense to keep talking about the past, it's already annoying to talk about what happened last year.
"We have to talk about the future because I was appointed Juventus coach on July 16 and I want to win with Juventus."
Juventus took all three points from the San Siro Stadium with Carlos Tevez scoring his fourth goal in a week for the Bianconeri.
"It's always nice to have champions in your squad," added Allegri.
"Tevez is quality but we have young players who can become champions just like him."
