Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says it will be emotional to face Milan at the San Siro stadium.
Sacked in January, the Italian returns to Milan for Saturday's evening match with both teams leading the table, together with Roma, with six points.
"Tomorrow's game will not be just another game for me, if I say I wouldn't be human," Allegri told reporters on Friday.
"I'm not a machine, I'm human. The three-and-a-half years spent at Milan were intense, unforgettable. We won the Scudetto, an Italian Super Cup but it's part of my past."
There are doubts about the fitness of midfielder Arturo Vidal and the coach says the Juventus medical team will assess the player's injury before deciding whether he will be fit to start.
"Vidal trained yesterday," added Allegri.
"He will today [yesterday] work with the rest of the squad and I will then decide if he's fit to start or sit on the bench.
"But he showed signs of improvement."
