Patrice Evra on the difference between the Juventus Stadium and Old Trafford

By

Juventus defender Patrice Evra says he was impressed the first time he stepped foot on the Juventus Stadium grass.

The France international joined the Bianconeri from Manchester United in the summer and says that he is determined to lift trophies with Juventus.

"The [Juventus] Stadium is all new, it's beautiful, almost like an English stadium, the atmosphere is electrifying" Evra is quoted as saying by TuttoJuve.com.

"The first time I played I felt 'incroyable', it's French for incredible.

"I was surprised by the atmosphere and the fans when we stepped in for the warm up.

"It's not really that bigger than Old Trafford but when you step into the pitch you feel something that gives you strength.

"Carlitos [Tevez] told me about the atmosphere and so did Paul [Pogba] and [Karim] Benzema when he played with Real Madrid but when you play here it feels like home."
