Giorgio Chiellini: I can't wait to be back on the pitch

Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini is set to make his long-awaited comeback from injury when Juventus take on Malmo this evening.

The 30-year-old picked up the injury while training with the Italian national team and missed the first part of the season for Juventus but is now ready to make his debut in Massimiliano Allegri's side.

"I can't wait to be back on the pitch," Chiellini told Sky Sports Italy.

"The last game I played was almost three months ago, at the World Cup Finals.

"For a number of reasons pre-season was not easy so I hope to be helpful tomorrow [today] evening.

"It will be a great match, it's the start of the Champions League and everyone is anxiously awaiting the game."
