Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri was quick to rubbish reports that the reigning Italian champions have suffered a large number of injuries during the first part of the season.
There was concern earlier this week over the fitness level of a number of key players and the Italian decided to start Friday's press conference by giving an update on all injured and suspended players.
"Let's try to be clear on our injured players, because a lot of nonsense has been said," the manager is quoted as saying by TuttoJuve.com.
"[Arturo] Vidal did not train for the last six months and it was the same for the last three months of last year, he just played and then underwent surgery.
"After 30 days he featured in the World Cup, he came back with an injury but it's just a muscular problem, we rested him as a precaution.
"[Giorgio] Chiellini was suspended for the first three matches and still is: he is training regularly with the rest of the squad.
"[Alvaro] Morata will soon be back in the squad and same goes for [Andrea] Barzagli who could be on the bench for tomorrow's game.
"[Andrea] Pirlo is recovering, he is set to work with the ball next week.
"And as for [Carlos] Tevez, there are no problems, he felt something when he kicked the ball in the air."
21-year-old Alvaro Morata is yet to make his debut for Juventus after picking up a knee injury on his first day of training with Allegri believing the issue is in danger of being blown out of proportion.
"I struggle to make the formation in the same way I struggle to imagine that Morata, on his first day of training, will suffer an injury because a goalkeeper lands on him," added Allegri.
"It's as if one of you leaves Vinovo [Juventus' training ground] and gets hit by a car. That's all I have to say on injured players."
