Coach Roberto Mancini says Internazionale will continue to fight to qualify for next season's Europa League.
With only eight games left this season, the Nerazzurri continue to struggle in the middle of the table but host Rudi Garcia's men after a promising performance against Milan in the derby.
"Nobody plays to lose, not even on the beach," Mancini said.
"[Winning against Roma would help] both [causes, to keep our European hopes alive and also for the morale ahead of next season].
"Qualifying for the Europa League does not depend just on us. We could as well win all games but there are many teams ahead of us in the table.
"But until the points are there, there's also hope, we'll see after the next 2-3 games.
"For now our focus is on winning tomorrow, we will then face an important week with three games in seven days.
"[Nemanja] Vidic is physically fit, a player of his age has to be 100% fit to give his best. They [Vidic and Andrea Ranocchia] are two important players for the future but it's not easy to say today who will join and who will leave.
"Both of them have to earn their place."
