Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini says his players have to approach Sunday's game against Torino in the same way they approach the Italian Cup game against Sampdoria.
Well behind in the race for a top-three finish, the Nerazzurri host Giampiero Ventura's side knowing that they cannot afford to drop more points if they are to qualify for next season's Champions League.
"Tomorrow I expect a well-managed game from my players," Mancini said.
"We want to show the same consistency showed against Sampdoria [in the Italian Cup]. We are behind in the table so we have to play catch-up.
"They [Torino] are a very good team with a very good coach.
"We didn't play well at Empoli but let's not forget the opposition. We defended but defence is part of the game."
The Italian also says that midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri will probably start on the bench after scoring his first goal in the mid-week win against Sampdoria.
"I don't think he [Xherdan Shaqiri] will play the full 90 minutes, we will see tomorrow.
"[Mateo Kovacic] could be an option in central midfield. He has what is needed to play in that role."
Asked if more players will join during the January transfer window, the 50-year-old explained: "I think he [Yaya Toure] is one of the best in the world but he's at Manchester City so it's not easy to make a move. We'll see in the future.
"I don't know [about Lucas Leiva and Lassana Diarra], both are not easy to sign. We'll see which one of the two is easier to get."
