Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini says new signing Xherdan Shaqiri is not fit to play as he hints at new signings in defence.
Defender Juan Jesus will be out of action for four games after being caught elbowing Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini during Tuesday's game and Mancini says new players could join to fill the void.
"He [Xherdan Shaqiri] can only play for 3-4 minutes," Mancini joked during Saturday's press conference.
"I don't believe he can play, he's been out since December 19 so I don't want him to suffer any injuries.
"[Nemanja] Vidic has been out for a month, he's not 100% fit but we have to options. Vidic is experienced, he knows that he has to do.
"Juan Jesus will be out for many games, so we will see if there is a possibility of doing something [signing new players] in the defensive department."
Asked how he convinced Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri to join him at Internazionale, Mancini explained: "I spoke with them, telling them that we're a great club.
"Maybe some the club was facing problems but the new signings can help us get back to where we belong."
