Internazionale coach says his side created enough chances to win the game against Juventus.
After a below-par first half, the Nerazzurri showed more determination in the second half to restore parity and created enough chances on the counter to find the winning goal.
"It was a tough game but we should be disappointed for not taking the chances to win the game," Mancini said.
"Juventus took an early lead and we failed to bounce back.
"[At half time I told my players] that even I could play at that pace.
"We lacked depth, we allowed Juventus to come forward with ease. We were lucky not to concede a second.
"But in the second half we improved, we could have conceded against in the first half but in the second we had chances to score."
The draw leaves Internazionale in 11th place, eight points from third-placed Lazio.
But Mancini says a recovery is not impossible.
"Recovering eight points is not impossible," added the Italian.
"As we're so far back we have to win a number of consecutive games and improve our confidence. If we do, we will get back many points."
