Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini again confirmed that Xherdan Shaqiri is a target for the January transfer window.
On-loan Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski made his debut against Juventus on Tuesday night and the 50-year-old hopes to add more players before the end of the transfer window.
"I don't know if it will be possible [to sign Xherdan Shaqiri]," Mancini said.
"Clearly, we hope to accelerate procedures but you never know. [Lukasz] Podolski's is far from his best fitness level, he was ill but he can give us a helping hand.
"You win nothing without good players."
Meanwhile, the Italian decided not to comment when asked if Mauro Icardi and Dani Osvaldo clashed in the dressing room after the game.
When on the counter, Icardi opted not to pass the ball to his team-mate who fumed at the decision of his striking partner.
"I'm yet to talk with them, for sure is that you don't build great teams with such episodes," said the coach.
