Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini insists the 4-3-1-2 is the best formation for his team.
The Italian manager took over from Walter Mazzarri two months ago and is slowly rebuilding the image of the team with new players expected to join during the winter transfer market.
"The 4-3-1-2 is the best formation at the moment," Mancini said.
"But clearly, we have to work on a number on solutions. I don't know if we will ever use the 4-2-3-1 and let's not forget that we would have to reshuffle things if new players join."
The Nerazzurri face Juventus away from home on Tuesday night and Mancini knows his players have to keep a close eye on midfielder Andrea Pirlo and striker Carlos Tevez.
"Tomorrow I don't want to see a team believing that it's mission impossible," added the coach.
"We have to go out there determined to win. Juventus have quality players with [Andrea] Pirlo their best signing in these last few years.
"He [Pirlo] will be their strongest player but Carlos [Tevez] is as equally dangerous, he's unpredictable and fights for the whole game.
"I don't think the difference [between the two teams] is huge but they deserve all the trophies they won in these last few years."
