Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini was unhappy with his side's first half performance in the 2-2 draw against Lazio.
The Nerazzurri were again guilty of defensive mistakes as they allowed the visitors to take a 2-0 first half lead but produced a brilliant display in the final 45 minutes of the game to salvage a point at the San Siro.
"We can play with [Gary] Medel from the start in the same way we can play without him," Mancini said.
"It's not down to an individual player, the way we conceded early penalised us. In the first half we lacked the same intensity showed in the second half.
"We can win at Turin [against Juventus], anything can happen in a game. We conceded goals from silly mistakes, something we shouldn't be doing. But we have to continue the work, especially considering the excellent second half [tonight]."
Midfielder Fredy Guarin was booed off the pitch when substituted and Mancini says it's everyone's job to turn boos into applause.
"We cannot only talk about Guarin," Mancini said.
"It's everyone's job to turn boos into applause. If somebody boos it's because he's not happy and it's our job to silence the boos with applause."
Internazionale have been heavily linked with Liverpool's Lucas but Mancini says signing the 27-year-old will not be easy during the January transfer window.
"Signing him [Lucas] is difficult," the managed added.
"But he would help us because he's experienced."
