Walter Mazzarri on the draw and Yann M'Vila's injury

By

Internazionale coach Walter Mazzarri says the goalless draw against St. Etienne is a good result for his team.

The Nerazzurri lead Group F of the Europa League on seven points with second-placed Qarabag on four as the manager believes three points are a healthy lead at this stage of the competition.

"I am satisfied with the point because we still lead the group with a three-point lead," Mazzarri said during his press conference.

"Let's not forget that fitness wise we're in a state of emergency and considering our fitness level I believe we played a good match.

"It's not easy to manage energy when you play a game every three days.

"We created three goal opportunities in the first half, they defended well and we failed to take advantage of the chances we created.

"It seems M'Vila's [injury] is serious, he twisted his knee and I don't think he will recover in two days."
