Andrea Ranocchia: The international break will help

By

Internazionale defender Andrea Ranocchia says hard work is required to recover from a set of negative results.

The Nerazzurri conceded seven goals in their last two Serie A games and the heavy defeat against Fiorentina on Sunday means they now lie 10th in the table, ten points from leaders Juventus.

"We conceded two early goals and failed to bounce back," Ranocchia said after the defeat.

"It was like getting two blows in the face in the first round [of a boxing fight] and it was indeed difficult to react to two so well-placed shots.

"We are sorry but we have to bounce back through hard work.

"The international break will help, we recently suffered from fatigue. Napoli is next, not easy, but we play at home.

"We'll be back fresh and ready after the break."
