Andrea Ranocchia: I will extend my contract for many years

Internazionale defender Andrea Ranocchia says he wants to stay at the club despite being linked with a move elsewhere.

The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a possible move away from the club during the summer but insists his future is with the Nerazzurri.

"I will extend my contract for many years," Ranocchia said on Saturday.

"And when the contract is over, I will sign a new one for many more years."

Internazionale face Cagliari on Sunday with the defender believing it will be a very difficult game for Mazzarri's men.

"It's a tough game, all games are," said Ranocchia.

"They are quality in the offensive department so we have to study them well."
