Internazionale striker Dani Osvaldo was full of smiles after scoring a brilliant goal for the Nerazzurri against Atalanta.
Walter Mazzarri's men created chances in the first half but needed an acrobatic effort from the 28-year-old to break the deadlock with midfielder Hernanes putting the game to bed in the 85th minute of the match.
"I often try these type of shots," Osvaldo told reporters.
"But many times I miss the target! This time I scored, a goal that gave us three points so I'm happy.
"I struggled in the early part of the game having done no warming up [before replacing Icardi] but I then felt better."
The win moves Internazionale to within four points of leaders Juventus and Roma and will on Sunday host Cagliari at the San Siro stadium.
