Internazionale coach Walter Mazzarri was satisfied after his side battled past a stubborn Atalanta 2-0 to move up to third in the table.
Striker Rodrigo Palacio missed a penalty in first half but the Nerazzurri kept fighting hard and took the lead through a Dani Osvaldo acrobatic effort with Hernanes sealing the win in the dying minutes of the game.
"We played a great game," the manager told reporters after the game.
"We started well and the positive is that we gave little or nothing away. If I am to be picky I would say we could have put the game to bed earlier, we have to be good in taking our chances."
Asked about Hernanes and his brilliant goal, Mazzarri said: "He will benefit from today's goal. I am happy for him, he's a true professional."
Dani Osvaldo and Gary Medel were also excellent for Internazionale, much for the delight of the manager.
"Osvaldo? He's a great player, a true professional, a serious [worker]. If there's room for improvement is with everyday work and in training he always works extremely hard," added Mazzarri.
"[Medel?] You need someone like him when you play the way we do with two attacking midfielders and the full-backs who attack.
"But I also want to underline the work carried out by M'Vila, he's doing well after struggling for two seasons.
"[Icardi?] He had a knock, it must have been strong to be forced out of the game. I will speak to him to understand what happened exactly."
