Internazionale coach Walter Mazzarri says his players should not underestimate Atalanta when the two teams face each other on Wednesday.
The Nerazzurri could only manage a draw against Palermo on Sunday and will be determined to get back on winning terms when they take on Stefano Colantuono's side at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia of Bergamo.
"They are hungry, all teams give extra effort when they play against us," Mazzarri told reporters on Tuesday.
"We are at the start of a new cycle, we have many young players in the team. The day we will learn to approach every game in the same way, we will show our quality. If we don't then the opposition can take advantage and cause problems.
"The lads know this and I hope to see a repeat of the Sassuolo game where we started aggressively."
Asked if striker Rodrigo Palacio will be in the starting eleven Mazzarri said: "Rotation is a must when you play every two-three days.
"I will take in consideration the fact that players suffer from mental and physical fatigue when we play every three days.
"Guarin did well in Ukraine. He also did well at Palermo, I just have to see if he is ready to play three consecutive games at a top level.
"For Palacio it's time to play from the start and see how important he can be for us, based on his fitness level. His ankle is no longer bothering him, it's just a matter of knowing for how many minutes he can play."
Brazilian midfielder Hernanes was disappointing against Palermo on Sunday but Mazzarri insists he can be a key member of the Internazionale midfield.
"He made unusual mistakes against Palermo but his attitude has never been negative," added Mazzarri.
"He produced two assists against Sassuolo but one always expects more from such a quality player.
"The player is serene, he's still not at his best but we'll wait. He will soon deliver, it was not easy at Palermo, the change of formation didn't help."
