Inter coach Walter Mazzarri was delighted after the Nerazzurri started their Europe League campaign with a narrow win away against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
A Danilo D'Ambrosio early goal was enough for Mazzarri's side as they keep their unbeaten run going this season and with the coach already looking forward to Sunday's game against Palermo.
"We played a very good game," Mazzarri told reporters after the win.
"We gave nothing away to a very tricky team, I'm happy and we can now shift our focus to the Palermo game.
"We were dangerous throughout the whole match, we could have scored more. We knew they would have done all the running and that they would have closed all spaces at the back.
"It's a very important win, teams will struggle to get points here. We made a lot of changes for the match but we did well and this shows there's depth in the squad."
Midfielder Mateo Kovacic was not in the line-up after suffering an injury in training and the manager is unsure when the youngster will be back in the squad.
"I cannot say anything on [Mateo] Kovacic, he will be assessed when we return to Milan."
