Internazionale president Erick Thohir has revealed plans to build a new stadium in the future.
In Jakarta to meet Internazionale fans, Thohir said he is expected to meet with all involved parties to discuss the project.
"We are considering options for a new stadium, we will speak with the local council and with Milan," the president is quoted as saying by FCInterNews.it.
"It's important, it means TV rights would no longer be the only source of income.
"But it's still early, financing is needed for a new stadium."
The president also answered questions concerning this summer's transfer campaign, confirming midfielder Mateo Kovacic will stay at the club.
"We tried to decrease the average age of the squad and in a way it's important to sign young players," explained Thohir.
"Our academy is amongst the best in Europe, we also managed to reduce the number of players, the squad was too crowded.
"He [Kovacic] will stay at Internazionale, he's very important to us."
