Mauricio Pochettino: Our squad is strong enough to fight for the Premier League title

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino says his side is strong enough to win the Premier League title this season.

Spurs registered a hard-fought away win on Monday afternoon against Watford, moving above Manchester City who Leicester City on Wednesday.

And the Argentinean was again full of praise for his players.

"The victory is very important for us," Pochettino is quoted as saying by the BBC.

"We worked hard to try and win and are happy because Watford are a difficult team and beat Liverpool recently.

"The condition of the pitch made it difficult to play how we usually play but we showed great maturity. We need to feel proud for the players, it was a great effort after only playing 48 hours ago.

"[The title race?] In football a lot can happen the most important thing is we believe, we have a strong squad to squad to fight for it."
