Manchester United legend: Why Harry Kane should snub Old Trafford move

By

Former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham says Harry Kane will find it very difficult to replicate the form that earned him so much praise last season if he moves to Old Trafford.

The England international is a £50m target for boss Louis van Gaal according to reports but Sheringham says that the 21-year-old should reject any offers from top clubs to continue at White Hart Lane.

"He reminds me a little bit of Jurgen Klinsmann to be honest," Sheringham told the Daily Star.

"When Jurgen came to the club he was full of enthusiasm, Harry's got that in abundance.

"He's a raw talent that is being helped along by his Tottenham colleagues as well.

"He was outstanding last year, it's a tall order for him to repeat it again this year.

"He'll be thinking about going one better, but if he repeats exactly what he did last year then it will be a fantastic season."
