Ryan Mason confident Spurs can finish in the top four

By

Midfielder Ryan Mason says Tottenham Hotspur can finally finish in the top four after Saturday's 2-1 win over Arsenal.

Spurs bounced back in style from conceding in the early stages of the game to beat their rivals and move up to fifth in the table.

And the 23-year-old says finishing in the top four is an objective for the team.

"We believe [in a top four finish] of course we do," Mason told the London Evening Standard.

"We did the same to Chelsea a little while ago and hopefully we can keep doing well and stay up there. It'll be difficult but we're confident in ourselves.

"I think we fully deserved [the win against Arsenal].

"I thought we outplayed them in first half and we were uncontrollable to go in 1-0 down but we sort of stressed that if we get the next two goals we were confident that we would go on and win the game.

"He [Harry Kane] leads the line on his own and he does unbelievably well and you can see like the way he is at the minute. He's on fire and can't stop scoring.

"We're on a good run and the team spirit is amazing you know. Everyone gets on with each other and it's great to come in at the end on the back of a win and be buzzing with your mates it's a great feeling."
