Mauricio Pochettino: We need to keep this feeling for the next few weeks

By

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino was "pleased and proud of his players" after a well-deserved away win at The Hawthorns.

After reaching the Capital One Cup final in mid-week, Spurs produced a brilliant performance in the Premier League and can look forward to next week's North London derby with optimism.

"I'm very pleased and very proud of our players," Pochettino said.

"We showed character and strong mentality and this is the way we want to play.

"I'm also proud of our supporters, they were great again, amazing in their support and we thank them for that. I think the 3-0 scoreline showed that we are in a very good way.

"From the beginning we played at a high tempo and that was the key, to start the game quickly.

"That was the mentality because it's always difficult after reaching a cup final to play away against a tough team like West Brom.

"We showed character, that's important and we need to keep this feeling for the next few weeks."
