Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says his players have to adopt the same positive mentality showed on Sunday against Everton when they play Chelsea next week.
Spurs moved up to seventh in the table after a hard-fought victory over Roberto Martinez's men, just two points from fourth-placed Manchester United.
"Today I showed my emotion, I was happy because I know our players suffer a lot and our supporters too," Pochettino told Sky Sports.
"It was a good chance to give this present of three points to our fans. It is important to enjoy this feeling with the team."
Spurs travel to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night and the Argentinean hopes to see more of the same against the Blues.
"We need to keep this mentality and try to show the same in the next game," Pochettino said.
"Always you need the time to set your philosophy but today we are very pleased with the three points."
"It [the win] shows we have character and that we are brave.
"Because it was difficult in the beginning, the first shot they score, but we played very aggressive during our game and started to show our style.
"We need to be aggressive with and without the ball and if we play with this intensity we can win with our style and develop. Today is a good example of what we want in our future."
