Hull City in £5m offer for Michael Dawson

By

Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson is ready to leave White Hart Lane with Hull City ready to make a £5m offer, according to The Sun.

The 30-year-old was a pivotal part of the Tottenham Hotspur defensive department in the last few seasons but could be sold during this summer's transfer window with Sunderland also linked with the defender.

According to reports in England, Spurs will replace the Englishman with Villareal's Mateo Musacchio and are ready to offer £17m for the 23-year-old Argentinean.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert accuses Ronald Koeman of lack of respect

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert revealed he was surprised by Southampton manager Ronald Koeman's decision to go public about the Saints' interest for defender Ron Vlaar.

Last week, the Dutchman said the 29-year-old would be perfect for his squad with Lambert angered by the comments.

"He is disrespecting when talking about other team's players," Lambert told Sky Sports.

"I wouldn't mind if he picked up the phone, but you don't go public on it.

"That's the thing that annoyed me the most. I just thought it was the wrong thing to have done."
