Queens Park Ranger sign goalkeeper Alex McCarthy

Queens Park Rangers have officially confirmed the arrival of 24-year-old goalkeeper Alex McCarthy from Reading.

There was much speculation over the future of the Englishman with Arsenal and Liverpool also linked but McCarthy said he was delighted after reaching an agreement with the Hoops.

"Absolutely delighted to sign for @QPRFC! Can't wait to get started on my next chapter," the player wrote on Twitter.

McCarthy was also grateful to Reading and their fans: "Just want to say a massive thanks to everyone @ReadingFC and their fans. They've been amazing to me and I can't thank them enough."

Leeds to sign Italian Dario Del Fabro on loan

Italian defender Dario Del Fabro is on the verge of joining Leeds United on a season-long deal.

According to Sky Sports Italy, the transfer of the 19-year-old should be completed before the end of the day.

Olympiakos make move for Konstantinos Mitroglou

Konstantinos Mitroglou is set to leave to Fulham to join Olympiakos, according to reports in Italy.

The 26-year-old was one of the many strikers linked with a possible move to Milan but it is now rumoured that the Greek side is ready to offer £800,000 to have the player on loan.
