Medical scheduled: International defender all set to complete Manchester United transfer next week

By

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has taken his medical at Juventus on Friday, according to reports in Italy.

The 28-year-old is expected to leave Old Trafford to make a return in the Italian Serie A.

But the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement on the transfer fee.

Transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that the Red Devils want £17.5million for the player but the Bianconeri are only ready to offer £10.5million.

The player is eager to leave England to return to Italy.

Meanwhile, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has identified Valencia's Joao Cancelo as the one to take over from the Italian.

The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at Internazionale but the Nerazzurri are struggling to reach a financial agreement to make his move permanent.
