Boost for Chelsea - Agent of £80million-rated striker is a "close associate of Stamford Bridge owner Roman Abramovich"

By

The agent of striker Robert Lewandowski is a close associate of Stamford Bridge owner Roman Abramovich and this gives Chelsea an advantage, Express Sport has claimed.

The Blues are one of the many teams linked with the Poland international.

His future remains uncertain after agent Pini Zahavi made it clear that his client wants a new experience.

"Robert feels he needs a change and a new challenge in his career. The managers of Bayern know about it," Zahavi told reporters.

"His reasons are not money or a specific club, as nearly all top clubs would like to have the world's best striker in their ranks."

"Every one of the Bayern leadership had great careers themselves.

"They should understand his situation."

Manchester United and Paris St Germain are also interested with participation for next season's Champions League playing an important factor in the player's decision.
