Ivan Perisic to Manchester United: Former Premier League star says winger could join Chelsea instead

By

Former Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo says Ivan Perisic could snub Manchester United to move to Stamford Bridge.

The Croatian has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford since the start of the summer.

He is the last player wanted by Jose Mourinho.

But Crespo believes the 28-year-old could fit nicely in Antonio Conte's set up at Chelsea.

"It's possible he joins Chelsea – but he plays on the left and on the left you have Eden Hazard, Perisic and Marcos Alonso," Crespo said.

"Maybe he could come in through the middle or to the right.

"If you put a lot of money down, even Inter will sell him, but they don't want to sell him."
