Manchester United in £36million bid to sign central midfielder also wanted by Chelsea's Antonio Conte

By

Manchester United have launched a €40million [£36m] bid for Barcelona star Sergi Roberto, according to the Mirror.

The article claims that the Red Devils have already made an official bid to sign the 25-year-old.

Barcelona have rejected the offer.

The Spaniard is also a target for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

The central midfielder played more than 150 games for the Spanish giants and has no intention of leaving his childhood club.

Both Premier League clubs are still searching for quality player to sign before the transfer window shuts down.

Mourinho made it clear that he wants at least one more player with Conte demanding at least two before the end of the month.
