Medical already complete: Manchester United reach centre-back agreement with Premier League rivals

By

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Timothy Fosu-Mensah will leave the club this summer.

The defender has already undergone a medical with Crystal Palace where he will play on loan for one season.

The 19-year-old failed to enjoy regular first-team football at Old Trafford but extended his contract until 2021 last season.

At the end of last month, he was full of praise for manager Jose Mourinho.

"I’m just trying to develop my game," he told MUTV.

"I’m young and still have a lot to learn, but I’m learning every day.

"I’m working with one of the best managers in the world, it’s something I’m grateful for and, as I say, I’m learning every day."
