"I want to prove them wrong" - Former Manchester United player sends warning to Red Devils

By

Former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj says he wants to prove Jose Mourinho wrong next season.

The Belgian left the club to move to Real Sociedad where he will team-up with former Arsenal striker Carlos Vela.

The 22-year-old was full of praise for Mourinho but says he will do his best to enjoy a solid season at the Anoeta Stadium.

"Obviously, he is a great trainer but I did not have much of a relationship with him," Januzaj told MEN Sport.

"I respect him a lot because he is the one who left the door open for me to leave Manchester United.

"What I want now is to prove that I am a good player and that they were wrong to let me go."
