Manchester United to lodge improved offer for star - personal terms with the player already agreed

Manchester United are planning to lodge a fresh bid to sign Monaco star Fabinho, according to Express Sport.

Having signed Romelu Lukaku from Everton, manager Jose Mourinho is now ready to add more quality to his squad.

The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford all summer.

Last month, the Brazilian confirmed that he was taking in consideration the possibility of accepting an offer from the Red Devils.

"The offer would be tempting, first I would talk with my agents/representatives and with Monaco to make sure the right decision is made," he said.

"But it's a great team and I would definitely think hard about the offer."

Fabinho has a market transfer value of £40million.

Recent reports have claimed that he reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid but the player is yet to sign with the Spanish giants.
