Sporting director has news after reports claim Manchester United will sign £40million midfielder

By

Roma sporting director Monchi has rubbished rumours linking attacking midfielder Radja Nainggolan with a move to England.

The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a £40million to Manchester United.

But the 48-year-old has made it clear that the player will not leave the club this summer.

"Yes. I think we've seen the last of the big departures from our club," he told the club's official website.

"Now it's time to build a team, which will be supplemented with potential purchases in the transfer market."

Nainggolan was a target for Chelsea during last summer's transfer window but interest from the Blues has cooled down this summer.
