"Can't wait to push on" - 21-year-old confirms on Twitter he has signed Manchester United contract

By

Manchester United goalkeeper Kieran O'Hara has revealed that he will be staying at the club.

The 21-year-old was one of six players whose contracts were expiring in the summer but the club decided not to release him.

He returned to pre-season with the rest of the reserves team on Tuesday.

The Stockport-born was named on the bench for the final Premier League game of last season at home to Crystal Palace.

He enjoyed loan spells at Stockport and Morcambe but he is now looking forward to a new season at Manchester United.

"A summer to remember but now time to get back to what matters, can't wait to push on and really looking forward to the new season #MUFC," he wrote on Twitter.
