Former Chelsea starlet Di’Shon Bernard has signed for Manchester United, the player himself has confirmed.

The youngster wrote on Twitter that a "new chapter begins" after signing the contract with the Red Devils.

The defender was at United’s training complex on Sunday with fellow French teenager Aliou Badara Traore as they both put pen to paper.

Bernard will join the club's Under 18 team that will leave for Austria this weekend for a pre-season training camp.

Largie Ramazani, Ethan Galbraith, D’Mani Bughail-Mellor and Brandon Williams have also joined the club's academy team.

Ramazani, 16, signed a four-year contract with the club on Monday.
