Professional contract signed: Manchester United complete transfer of talented defender

Manchester United talent Jean Leroy Belehouan has left the club to join Sheffield United, the player himself has confirmed.

The 17-year-old leaves the Red Devils after seven years as he was full of praise for his former club in a message posted his personal Instagram page.

The left-back says he is already looking forward to making his debut with the Blades.

"After a great 7 years at Manchester United, it's finally going to come to an end," he said.

"I am grateful for them to have made me into the player I am today and wish all my former teammates the best of luck in their footballing careers at Manchester united.

"However I am very happy to announce that I've signed a scholarship and a professional contract for Sheffield United.

"It's been a pleasure to be such around a bunch of people at manutd but now I am ready to begin my future with sheffield united where the real graft starts #newbeginning."
