"They are lining up a move" - Manchester United in shock bid to sign Real Madrid midfielder

By

Manchester United are reportedly lining up a move for Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic, according to the Mirror.

The 23-year-old was one of the most wanted midfielders when at Internazionale but he struggled to make an impact the Santiago Bernabeu.

He was a target for Sir Alex Ferguson when he was just 17-years old.

The Croatian is the third Real Madrid player linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Strikers Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez will join the club according to reports in Italy and England.

United were also heavily linked with a move for Gareth Bale but the Welshman will not leave the Spanish giants this summer.
