Manchester United target reveals: This is why I rejected a move to Old Trafford

By

Manchester United target Ryan Sessegnon says regular first-team football is the reason why he turned down the chance to play for a leading Premier League team.

Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been linked with the 17-year-old.

But he says his focus at the moment is to enjoy regular football at Fulham.

"Last season I got a lot of opportunities so I want to continue that," he told the Evening Standard.

"When you are young you just want to play as many games as you can. To play 30 games last year was good. It is always about improving and this season I want to get better.

"I am just happy for it to be done now. I can kick on and get ready for the season.

"I just focus on my job and that is playing for Fulham."
