Personal terms agreed, transfer imminent: Manchester United's £70million bid set to be accepted

By

Manchester United have reportedly offered Real Madrid £70million for James Rodriguez, £4million more than their asking price.

The Sun claims that the Red Devils have already agreed personal terms with the player.

He endured a very disappointing campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu and many reports have claimed that he wants to leave ahead of the 2018 World Cup Finals.

But the situation is not as clear cut as it seems.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has declared this morning that the player will not leave the club this summer.

"He is one of the best players in the world, he belongs to Madrid and Madrid players do not leave when they want to or their parents wants them to," he declared.

"We have to match the interests of the players with ours, but mostly those of Madrid."
