Manchester United to announce these two midfield signings before the end of next week

By

Nemanja Matic and Fabinho will join Manchester United before the end of the week according to reports in Italy and England.

The two are expected to strengthen Jose Mourinho's midfield ahead of the new season.

The Chelsea man will join for £40million, the Brazilian for £30million.

On Tuesday, Fabinho preferred not to confirm reports claiming that he will join the Red Devils in the next few days.

"At this moment, Fabinho is with the Monaco shirt," he told ESPN Brazil when asked which shirt he will be wearing at United next season.

"Managers, I would also like to work with great managers to learn more about football, learn new things. There are great managers in football.

"[Pep] Guardiola, [Zinedine] Zidane, who's doing a great work, Tite, also doing a great job in the national team, [Diego Pablo] Simeone. These are managers I would like to work with some day.

"[Mourinho?] He too. He is an excellent manager. No doubt."
