Revealed: Jose Mourinho's primary striker target is not Ronaldo but this £100million goal machine

By

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho's main summer target to strengthen the offensive department is not Cristiano Ronaldo according to Metro.

The British newspaper claims that the Portuguese wants to sign Tottenham Hotspur Harry Kane.

The Englishman was in phenomenal form this year as he won the Premier League's Golden Boot for a second consecutive year.

But Spurs are determined not to sell the best player in their squad.

The Red Devils are ready to offer as much as £100million to secure the services of the 23-year-old but Mauricio Pochettino wants the striker to lead his offensive department next season.

United are yet to sign a new striker but have been linked with Alvaro Morata and Romelu Lukaku so far this summer.
